Duty to Report

 

All instructional personnel, educational support employees, and school administrators must report misconduct affecting student health, safety, or welfare.

 

Failure to report may result in disciplinary action, up to termination of employment and, for certified educators, revocation of an educator certificate.

 

Child Abuse & Emergencies

 

Reporting to the school does not replace the duty to report suspected child abuse, abandonment, or neglect to the Florida Abuse Hotline.
